When John Mulaney went on the whole rant about how great Field of Dreams was and that it should win an Oscar but probably wouldn't be getting one that night, I immediately thought "that sounds like something Kerry would write" lol
my little theory is that you can see on Emma's face she didn't want to win because she knew it would come with backlash. i hate what this has turned into!

I also tried to explain a lot of things about the Oscars to my own 7-year-old but gave up at some point, probably when naked John Cena came out and I laughed and he asked me why I was laughing WITHOUT EVEN LOOKING AT THE TV and I was like, no, you don't actually care, just look at the TV if you want to know this one.
My partner and I took him to see Barbie in the theater last summer and he was entertained almost the whole time! He also recognized Barbie in the opening clip, but when I said, "we saw that movie last summer, do you remember?" he said "no, I don't remember, she just looks exactly like Barbie"
you know already that I don't really CARE about the Oscars (sorry! sorry! but in my defense, I also don't go on social media the night of the Oscars and make it everyone's problem?) but I deeply deeply care about your thoughts on the Oscars. this is the closest I come!!!!

I want all your thoughts on the One Day at a Time reboot, because I loved that show so so much, and am still angry it was cancelled by Netflix.
