I guarantee I have seen this episode of Full House, because I think I watched literally all of them as a kid because the re-runs were just CONSTANTLY on and I was often bored after school because it was the 90s and I was not over-scheduled like so many of the youth of today, and it alllllmost rings a bell, but mainly my takeaway from this is that after re-watching the opening credits for the first time in years, I was alarmed to see at least four outfits that made me go, "huh, I kind of like that" which is honestly concerning. I am worried that the nonsensical fashion moment we have been in for the past few years post-pandemic has finally addled my brain. 😩
I can only hope we continue to keep our son under-scheduled so that he can always know the joy of watching perhaps too much TV 😂 But I agree about the clothes…there’s a lot of oversized stuff that makes me think “ok but that looks kinda good.”
I was a big Full House fan when it was on (AND I WAS A CHILD)...does this mean I need to go rewatch Full House, even though I'm a childless almost 40 something? Because this does sound delightful.
Ugh, Full House! This was my favorite show as a kid. I have yet to find an equivalent TV high to that of TGIF. I for sure remember this episode. Also, watching things I grew up on in the 90s with my kids now makes me realize just how much wildly inappropriate sexual innuendo we were exposed to 😳 There was a real don't worry about it it will go over the kids heads and the adults will love the inside joke vibe in the 80s/90s that doesn't fly today. Maybe bc today's parents were the kids not in on the joke? 😅
I didn't know I needed this, but I'm so grateful you did! The representation of Aunt Becky's feelings as the red-faced angry emoji just about did me in.
Kathy Santoni ends up getting pregnant and given extra credit for it by her Home Ec teacher… the writers definitely made her pay for stealing DJs boyfriend 😂
So many sitcom scenes are burned into my mind ("I'm so excited!" From saved by the bell hello?) But this entire episode of FH is lodged in my brain in all its weirdness. I loved reading this!
I just laughed out loud. Please feel free to write your hot takes about Full House any time you want!
You may regret encouraging me when this turns into an All Full House newsletter!
Just subscribed and looking forward to it 🥂
I’m going to call myself “Full House Hot” anytime in the future my bangs get a little too perky. Thanks for that.
I hope you also wear some shoulder pads!
Noted. 👍🏻

Yes! We often watch older things with our kid and are like “whoa” haha
I didn’t know I needed a deep dive analysis of a very niche full house episode in my life, but turns out I did.
I’m so glad!

It was my first thought when I saw her. The girl was mad!!

I have saved this for far too long but it was the perfect time. I laughed out loud, I nodded, I laughed more. An all Full House newsletter would KILL.
Please recap more Full House episodes 😅😅😅
All I can think of is her facing prison time for cheating for her kids to get into a fancy college.
Ear the rich!
Highly recommend a recap of the love letter episode when you get to it! That's the only one I remember in some detail and wonder if it holds up 😁

At the risk of being pedantic, they live in a Victorian, not a town house. :)
Sorry for the mistake!
