Happy Friday! I meant to put out my second Gilmore Girls post this week, but I got sidetracked by sewing a cheeseburger costume. I was going to say “long story,” but that’s really the whole story. I’ve been making a cheeseburger costume. Anyway, this is already the second post of the week so why don’t we just check in on the Gilmores next week? Next week is also the beginning of Empire Falls Fall. Exciting!

One thing I hope to do with these posts is showcase joys that do NOT involve buying things. One of the things I hate most is social media accounts that exist solely to tell me to buy stuff. My eyes glaze over, and I also think it’s bad for my spirit. I’m sure that every once in awhile I’ll share something that I bought, but I promise it won’t be a regular thing. Mostly because I don’t think I’ve bought myself any clothing in over a year.

Oh man, I’m starting yet another weekly joys post with a negative attitude! Let’s get into the good stuff: soup that can heal you, using my sewing machine, making fun of Britbox, and the library. As always, I’d love to hear what’s making YOU happy this week. Paywall mode activated!
