After stalking their Instagram for months, the day is finally here: the new Barnes & Noble in Dublin is OPEN. Just call me Jessie Spano because I’m so excited, and I can’t wait to be there this Saturday, 5/31, from 5-7 for a book signing. Even more exciting—I’ll be there with Kristy Boyce, whose warm and cozy YA romances I absolutely love.
This is a rare updates-only newsletter, so please appreciate me not running my mouth about an 80s/90s movie for 2,000 words. There will be just a couple of other chances to see me this summer. On June 17th, I’ll be in Franklin, Indiana talking to Ashley Poston about her new book Sounds Like Love. I adore Franklin and Wild Geese (the store that’s hosting the event), and I’m really looking forward to talking to Ashley. You do need tickets for this event and the store anticipates that it will sell out.
Okay, that’s it! I’m keeping events at minimum these days as I work on a new book, but I so appreciate those of you who ask me when I’ll be doing signings or visiting your favorite stores. I am always happy to be a conversation partner for other authors on their own book tours, so feel free to ask me if you’re in town. And, although I may not be doing many signings, please know that you can always say hi if you see me out and about. Readers always apologize for doing this and then say something like, “I’m sorry to take up your time! I’ll let you get back to your day!” Guys…what do you think I’m doing with my time that’s so important? This is an isolated job! I am happy to talk to you. If anything, you’re going to regret starting a conversation with me because I will not stop asking you questions.
I hope to see you on Saturday at Barnes & Noble! It’s going to be so much fun.
